HistoCore & IHC Lab
The HistoCore and IHC Lab is a core facility of the Center for Translational Pathology, administered by the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. We support WCM and external investigators with high-quality morphologic workflows and project consultation to accelerate translational research.
- Access to archival and frozen tissue resources within Pathology
- Broad menu: processing → staining → imaging → quantification
- Project tracking, research integrity monitoring, publication support
Core capabilities
Tissue processing, sectioning, routine and special stains, IHC, and in situ hybridization—built for quality and reproducibility.
Brightfield whole-slide scanning and quantitative analysis workflows to support publication-ready outputs.
Consultation for tissue handling and experimental design, plus statistical support for analysis and manuscript preparation.
Submitted projects are logged and tracked in a database to support throughput, monitor research integrity, and enable reporting of publications resulting from these investigations.
